For many of us, our pets are very much a part of our family. They are more than animals we own, they are truly members of our family. Within our families they are our companions, children, siblings, and for some they even generate income in various ways to help pay our bills. For whatever reason(s), many photographers do not encourage or allow us to include our animal friends and family in our portraits.
Forever Happens is much different. Not only do I encourage folks to include their pet(s), I focus primarily on the pets! All too often time seems to slip by us and we realize sometimes too late that we never got around to taking many pictures of our pets. We look back and find scattered memories over time, usually snapshots that were taken because we had our camera in hand, and our pet(s) were nearby.
Animals have personalities that are just as unique as they are, and my goal is to capture your pet(s) in the spotlight, and to produce quality photographs that let the you relive and remember that spirit that has touched your life in a way only a pet can. People are also more than welcome to participate/join their pet in the photograph!
Serving south central Wisconsin, I travel to the destination of your choice, spending time to get the best photographs to depict the type of memory you'd like to create. The warmer months of the year are better for outside appointments, but pets that are acclimated to Wisconsin winters are more than welcome to outside appointments in the colder months. For the safety and well-being of your pet, a background change on the image may be an option if your pet is unable to tolerate the weather at the time of appointment.
Your pet's safety and well-being is my top priority. Appointment durations vary with each pet. Some appointments may last longer to allow the pet to adjust to me, my equipment, or the attention they receive.
Each set may include up to 50 quality proofs to choose from. (Blurred, poor quality, photographer/equipment error photographs will not be counted!)

Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, hamsters, rodents, cattle, goats, swine, reptiles, exotics... suggestions?
Reputable breeders are welcome to contact me. In some cases, the additional pet fee may be waived for animals being photographed with their litter!
Non-profit organizations are also welcome to enquire. Depending on scheduling and photography purpose, I may be available for volunteer work upon request.
